EICR’s
£120 for first 5 circuits ( or up to 5 circuits)
£18 per additional circuit.
£50 LEISR
EICR ( electrical installation condition report is an assessment which determines the safe running and functionality of your electrics. On completion of the report you will be issued with a certificate stating whether the outcome is either satisfactory or unsatisfactory. In the event of an unsatisfactory report remedial works can be discussed, and a price will be agreed before proceeding with any work.
EICR costing is based upon the number of final circuits in your installation. Up to and including the first five final circuits there will be a flat rate of £120. Any additional circuits will be charged at £18 per circuit. For Example if you have 10 circuits that will equate to £120 + £90 ( 5 x £18 ) = £210. If the job requires a full day testing, then the price will be capped at £350 for the day.
When providing an EICR for an estate agent on a rented property I will put a 5 year time frame on the EICR if I believe that it is of a satisfactory standard. This will be down to myself or the engineers judgement. There will also be a note saying on the EICR that if there is a change of tenancy within that 5 year time frame then I will have to provide an LEISR ( landlord electrical installation safety record ) these cost £50.
This is a requirement because I have found in the past a tenant has not always left a property in the healthiest condition, for example broken sockets, none functioning light switches, missing pull chords, light bulbs missing, RCD devices not tripping within the correct time ( RCD S should be checked every 6 months), and even RIGGED METERS!🫣🫣🫣🥹
